ACERCA DEL EVENTO

Tour carnavalero para todas las personas que quieran darle un marco de conocimiento histórico a la fiesta popular más grande del Uruguay, el Carnaval.

Dirigido a todas las personas amantes de Montevideo y el Carnaval, se brindarán conocimientos históricos sobre la relación entre nuestra ciudad y esta fiesta popular. Visita a Tablado de barrio o Concurso oficial, explicación y diferenciación de categorías de murga, los tambores y las llamadas, serán las tematicas a desarrollarse en un formato Walking Tour por el Barrio Sur y Palermo. Personajes referentes nos apoyan y se presentarán en alguno de los recorridos para hacer de este Tour de Carnaval una experiencia extraordinaria.

• 15:00 - 15:45 hs / Teatro de Verano - Visita Guiada: Se brindará una visita guiada en un recorrido por el Teatro de Verano, con motivo de sus 75 años de Aniversario.

• 15:45 - 16:15 hs / Caminata por la Rambla de Montevideo hacia la Casa Cultural Africanía, Tomas Chirimini, responsable del archivo del barrio, nos brindará toda la información histórica de Barrio Sur y su conformación histórico-cultural. Repasaremos su historia y el vinculo con los tambores, el candombe y las llamadas (dos días de desfile de agrupaciones tamborileras).

• 20 hs - 00:00hs / Visita a Tablado de Barrio (según disponibilidad). Luego de conversar sobre todo lo referente al Carnaval, es necesario vivenciar una noche de tablado barrial o una etapa del concurso oficial en el Teatro de Verano Ramón Collazo. Se tendrá acceso a la programación de un tablado donde actuarán hasta 5 conjuntos en la noche. Asimismo se abrirá el espacio para relajarse y degustar las picadas criollas.

Carnival tour for all people who want to give a framework of historical knowledge to the largest popular festival in Uruguay, The Carnival.

Aimed at all people who love Montevideo and Carnival, historical knowledge will be provided about the relationship between our city and this popular festival.

Carnival places ("Tablados") , the Official Contest, categories of Murga, drums and "Las llamadas", will be the themes to be developed in a Walking Tour format through Barrio Sur and Palermo neighborhoods.

After talking about everything related to Carnival, it is necessary to experience a night of neighborhood stage or a stage of the official competition at the Ramón Collazo Summer Theater. You will have access to the programming of a table where up to 5 sets will perform at night. It will also open the space to relax and taste the Creole bites.
