ACERCA DEL EVENTO
El Congreso de Endocannabinología tiene la Dirección Académica de la Dra. Cecilia Scorza del Instituto de Investigaciones Biológicas Clemente Estable y la QF. Dra. Marta Vázquez de la Universidad de la República. El Congreso busca abordar las diferentes aplicaciones biomédicas del cannabis y los cannabinoides, y el papel del sistema endocannabinoide en condiciones médicas. Será llevado a cabo en formato presencial, por profesionales de la salud y de la investigación científica, nacionales y extranjeros.
The congress of Endocannabinology has the Academic Direction of PhD Cecilia Scorza from the Biological Research Institute Clemente Estable (IIBCE) and the PhD Marta Vázquez from the University of the Republic of Uruguay (UDELAR). The Congress seeks to address the different biomedical applications of cannabis and cannabinoids, and the role of the endocannabinoid system in medical conditions. It will be a face-to-face activity by national and foreign health and scientific research professionals.

Participan del Congreso de Endocannabinología, entre otros, el Dr. Eric Murillo Rodríguez que llega desde la Universidad Anáhuac Mayab, Mérida, en Yucatán, México a exponer sobre los cannabinoides y los trastornos del sueño. El Dr. Alberto Lazarowski de la Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina y la brasileña Dra Samia Joca que trabaja en la Universidad Aarhus de Dinamarca, e investiga sobre el uso de cannabis como antidepresivo. Participating in the Congress of Endocannabinology, among others, is PhD Eric Murillo Rodríguez who comes from the Anáhuac Mayab University, in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico to speak about cannabinoids and sleep disorders. PhD Alberto Lazarowski from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina and the Brazilian PhD Samia Joca who works at Aarhus University in Denmark, and investigates the use of cannabis as an antidepressant. In addition, there will be highly relevant Uruguayan academic exponents, such as representatives of the Ministry of Public Health of Uruguay, the Uruguayan Society of Endocannabinology and the Uruguayan Medical Union.
